2016 Leinster hurling championship draw

The All-Ireland championship may only be finished little over a month but we as supporters and the GAA set our sights on the 2016 championship last night.

Aired on RTE, the 2016 provincial championship and national championships took center stage for both hurling and football.

The draw is as follows

With the Faithful county relegated back to the qualifier group and Kerry promoted it will be a difficult task for all four teams to reach a quarter-final position. To further add to the task the group winner will face All-Ireland finalists Galway. The runners up of the qualifier group will play Laois who are recently promoted out of that group. Wexford and 2015 All-Ireland Champions Kilkenny could meet again if they overcome Dublin in the quarter-final. It would be fancied a replay of the 2015 All-Ireland in the Leinster final in 2016 unless Wexford/Dublin or Laois can cause a major upset.
