Jason Ryan resigns as Kildare Senior football manager.

It’s been a bad week on the manager front for Kildare GAA this week as last night football manager Jason Ryan resigned as Kildare Senior football manager.

During his time Ryan lead Kildare to two Leinster SFC semi-finals and to an All-Ireland quarter-final this year where they were hammered at the hands of 2014 All-Ireland champions Kerry. They also lost the Leinster semi-final by a huge score of 17 points to neighbour’s Dublin.

During his time as boss Kildare were relegated back to back in the Allianz league and will play in Division 3 in 2016. When Ryan was asked about in future after the Quarter-final defeat he replied

“Today is today, and we’ll deal with today.”

Under 21 manager Bryan Murphy is expected to run for the senior position.
