Following their appeal in relation to their semi-final lost to the hands of 2013 All-Ireland Champions Galway, Wexford’s appeal date has been set for this Thursday night August 27th.

The appeal will be either rejected or upheld after Wexford lodged two appeals for their defeat. The Model county’s appeal is made up of

Wexford were defeated after a late Niamh McGrath ’45 was scored outside the additional four allocated by Cork native referee Cathal Egan.  Wexford are appealing to the National Transfers Hearings and Disciplinary Committee (NTHDC) on the grounds of

  2. 41.6 – Timekeeping

If Wexford win the appeal the decision will be passed to the Ard Comhairle for action.
