Joe Quaid resigns as Limerick Camogie manager

Joe Quaid has resigned as Limerick Camogie manager today according to the Limerick Leader.

Quaid who has not looked for reappointment has had huge success as the man in charge of Limerick Camogie. During his three years Quaid brought ‘The Shannonsiders’ from strength to strength reaching the Intermediate final in 2o13. In 2014, Limerick were promoted to Senior ranks after winning the All-Ireland Intermediate Championship and were also League campaign winners under Quaid’s supervision and also was awarded Manager of the year. In 2015 Limerick reached the league semi-finals but did not qualify for the knock-out stages of the championship.

Rumour had it that Quaid was linked to the Offaly hurling Job after 2015 manager Brian Whelehan stood down, Could this be the new man in charge of the faithful hurlers? Watch this space.
