All-Ireland Senior Camogie Semi-Final between Cork and Kilkenny pushed back 24 hours

The Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Camogie Semi-Final between Kilkenny and Cork has been pushed back by 24 hours until Sunday for facilitate Cork’s dual players.

The replay of the 2014 All-Ireland final was originally fixed for August 15th will be postponed until August 16th as the Cork ladies football team are scheduled to play championship on the Saturday after their victory yesterday. A scenerio similar to this occured just a couple of weeks ago meant that Cork dual players  Rena Buckley, Briege Corkery and Meabh Cahalane were faced to play two games in one day and as a result it sparked a lot of controversy on social media.

In the second semi-final, Wexford are through to play 2013 champions Galway which will be played on Saturday August 15 after they defeated Dublin 0-13 to 1-7 in the quarter-final at Netwatch Cullen Park Carlow yesterday.
