IT Carlow’s Meet the players: James Kilmartin

In conjunction with IT Carlow, has joined up to report on GAA games but also to introduce supporters to the players. This week in relation to the IT Carlow hurling fresher team and their game vs Maynooth tomorrow evening in IT Carlow at 7:45pm, IT Carlow hurler for this weeks featured player is James ‘JK’ Kilmartin.

Sport: Hurling
Greatest sports achievement: Captaining Offaly minors in 2014 and also winning the Minor title with my club in 2014 also.
Biggest influence: My parents and under age trainer Christy Hand
Favourite postion: Full-Forward
Toughest oppent:
Club: Con Mahon
County: Jordan Fogarty
If you could invite any 3 people for dinner who would it be?: Harely Dalzell, Pixie Lott and Ariana Grande
Typical sat night: Fifa and cinema with lads or else going out to town.
Typical Student night: Drinking with the lads, wrecking someones house and head out to Carlow town then.
Advice to Young Players: Practice every day and listen to coaches.
Best thing about playing GAA in IT Carlow: Facilities and coaches are unreal in IT Carlow, especially for hurling.
